If it looks familiar it’s normal. Update! Here is the final version of Addicts. There are a few differences since the last post, I will let you find them out.
I think the modifications deepen the paintings by adding a few layers in the background both inside the room and outside – through the window. The work on the newspaper at the forefront of the work makes it a little less plain and adds some edge to the overall composition.
The work – “Addicts”, 2008, oil on canvas and newspapers, 80×60cm – is currently on display at the house of one of Tany’s patron in South Africa (but still for sale!).
