Even though Tany had been reluctant from the start to design DejaVu t-shirt, he has accepted a friend’s request to try a summer & lady collection. Here is the first DejaVu clothing item specifically designed for women (and summer even though we did not have any this year!).

I wanted to do a sad clown painting - not a depressed one - more of someone in need of affection. I was looking for inspiration and I found a picture of a doll rapt in bandage so then I thought that a sad clown / voodoo doll with a pin in the heart would be interesting. It’s is actually more a “Pierrot la Lune” than a clown, he’s all black and white, contrasting with the colourful background. I will let viewers decide whether he pinned the words behind himself or if a lover did a voodoo doll…
These are two new sculptures on the theme of maternity. As I observed mothers with their children around me, I realized how infinitely dependent and abandoned the children were with their mother: their whole world revolves around the mother, making them a part of her, even if they are not part of the maternal body as before the birth anymore.
I made this sculpture for my brother and his wife, Pep and Louisa, who got married in June… I hope they like it: Tany finds it too erotic, I wanted to show the image they reflect: Pep with his faux air of detachment, in a couple more better-matched, more tender, closer and more in love than any other I have ever seen.

Now that summer is gone for good in the Great Britain, Tany got back to his brushes. This painting was initially a commissioned work from one of his friends - Alexis - in New York. Alexis request was to follow the path of Science and Art, so Tany painted this human heart, adding some religious visual symbols and tattooing on top of it the mysterious (?) decree: “… My Heart is ****”. Unfortunately the result is not what was expected, so the canvas has been classified as a draft work.
The DejaVu Production Project is now wearing its new coat. Thanks to w00kie and Tany, the new website looks much better, clearer and has a lot of new functionalities. Don’t hesitate to let us know what you think of it!
Ali and Tany have joined forces to produce the first DejaVu Production video. Tany wrote the script and filmed the scenes in London, then Ali created the music in Paris using footage. The result is an original and unexpected work of art and short entertainment.
